Dates, no matter if they are the first, second, tenth, or thirtieth, are always exciting. Whether you are dating the guy for a minute or for five years, it’s still fun to dress up and go out on a romantic date night. The dilemma is always what to wear. Which look do you go for? Fitted jeans and an adorable blouse? Skirt and top with colorful blazer? Flirty dress with cardigan? There are so many options, and it can really become a headache when figuring it out.

I tend to go for the flirty and dressier ensemble when going on a date night with my boyfriend. Of course, if I’m going to a place, such as the bowling alley, it’s jeans and a cute tee. However, if it’s dinner and a night out on the town, I like a dress or skirt for the occasion.  The ‘Kink’ dress could be one of my absolute favorites in the collection at the moment. I love the soft color palette it embraces. The shorter hemline is perfect with the higher neckline and cut out shoulder detail, and I adore the self-sash.

This dress is ideal for a date night. If it’s chilly, throw on opaque tights with a cropped leather jacket and booties. If you’re going bare legs, a beautiful pair of pumps or bright colored flats works just as well. No need to skimp on the jewels for a night out with your beau. A stack of bangles would look great or even a jeweled cuff. A bold cocktail ring and layers of necklaces completes the look.

Date nights are the best excuse to dress up and feel feminine, flirty, and fabulous.  Pull out all the stops next time you are going out with your mate, and the ‘Kink’ dress is the perfect place to start.
