After our Play Date on the High Line, checking out the galleries, and dancing the night away, we’re certainly famished! Here are our top picks for where to rest your feet and satisfy your appetite for something delicious within Chelsea.

Chelsea Market is more than just a “market.” This is a one stop sprawling market place for Thai delicacies, fresh mozzarella, cupcakes, vino, seafood, and all of the dishware to serve it at home.

Just outside the technical eastern boundary of Chelsea, Hill Country has been rated as some of the best BBQ in the city! Set up like a Southern cafeteria, this is a great place for a relaxed dinner with friends.

Artichoke Basille has a few locations throughout the city, and Chelsea happens to be their most upscale spot. This is so much more than just pizza, trust us, and grab extra napkins.

Finally finish your meal at Chelsea’s floating dive bar: The Frying Pan.

Also just to the east of technical Chelsea, Eataly is the Italian grocery/restaurant/mecca developed by Maria Batali. Take your time wandering the aisles, sampling, and definitely finish with gelato.

Have a fabulous weekend and join us next week for Preppy break in one of NYC’s downtown neighborhoods!
