Living in Manhattan is a lot of fun, but not always the easiest to dress for. In a typical day, I could be running from a breakfast meeting to work to a conference back to work to drinks and then an event or dinner. To accommodate my busy schedule, I need clothing that is versatile, comfortable, and easily dresses up or down without a whole lot of thought.
For that reason, I love Ali Ro. It always seems to walk the line between dressy and casual. Their dresses are the sort of thing you can dress down with (their) anorak and flats, or dress up with a blazer or sequin jacket and heels.
